Welcome to The Darndale Belcamp Integrated Childcare Service Ltd.

The Darndale Belcamp Integrated Childcare Service Ltd was established in January 2000. The centre provides quality childcare for the children and families from the local Darndale, Belcamp and Moatview communities, a recognised area of social need.

It is one of the largest childcare centres in Ireland with 260 children from 0 to 12 years of age attending daily.

Our aim is to meet the increasing needs in the community for high quality, safe, affordable and inclusive childcare aimed at promoting the physical, emotional, social and educational well being of the children.

Our Centre is helping to make a real difference to the children and families of the area. It has been recognized for its quality standards with a Siolta award in 2013; it participates in the “Ready for School” program and each year ensures that up to 60 pre-schoolers made a positive transition to Junior Infants.

Our Vision is that as an Early years professional service we promote a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Through Active learning our experienced, qualified and competent staff team nurture fun loving and inquisitive children. We work in partnership with valued parents and a supportive community. We ensure that every child has the tools to build a great future and live their dreams.

We are pleased that our High/Scope curriculum meets the requirements of the Aistear curriculum framework, the national curriculum framework which defines and explains what a curriculum is required to be like or contain. We ensure that our Early Years team participate in ongoing training to meet and exceed the national required standards for early years professionals.
